Alice Charlotte Severson, age 82, of Barron, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 3, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Bloomer.

She was born on February 8, 1939 to Lottie Pierce in Chippewa Falls.

She grew up in Chippewa Falls and later moved to the Cameron area. On February 8, 1962 she married Lloyd Severson in Pine City, Minnesota.

Alice’s hobbies included puzzles, walking, picking berries and listening to her bible tapes. She was a member of Grace Ministries Church in Hillsdale.

Alice is survived by three daughters, Sheri Severson of Cameron, Arlene Severson of Osceola and Tammy (Mark) Olson of Barron; grandchildren, Jessica Hoff (Tyler); Megan Seipp (Justin); Anthony Severson (Jessie); Trevor Moen; Amber Lystig (Colten) and Zak Olson; 5 great-grandchildren; special nephew, Joe Hoff. She is also survived by brothers, Harley (Linda) Oemig of Cornell, Harvey (Rosalie) Oemig of Sheboygan and Charles Oemig of Chippewa Falls; sisters, Francis Pixley of New Port Richie, FL, Joyce Oemig of Chippewa Falls, Connie (William) Mousette of Onalaska and Sally Miles of Fall River; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd; brothers, John and Sidney; and sister, Sharon.

A celebration of life for Alice Severson will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Rausch and Steel Funeral Chapel in Barron with Rev. Rick Longanecker officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in the Town of Stanley, Barron County.

Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
