Albert J.B. Hislop, age 87 of Clear Lake, WI, died on June 17, 2024 at the Golden Age Manor of Amery, WI where he had been a resident the past year and a half.

Albert John Burch Hislop was born on April 19, 1937 in St. Paul, MN the son of George & Mabel (Burch) Hislop. He grew up on the East side of St. Paul and graduated from North St. Paul High School in 1955. Al was married to Vivian Werra on October 3, 1959 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in St. Paul, MN . Together they made their home in North St. Paul and raised eight children, George, John, Rita, Albert Jr., Cathleen, Barbra, Scott & Kari. During this time, Al worked as a production mechanic for American Can in St. Paul, MN for many years. In 1987, they moved to Clear Lake, WI. In his spare time, Al enjoyed working on antique engines, collecting Slot Machines and attending tractor shows. He was known for his trips to and from on his scooter and he loved spending time visiting and having coffee with his friends.

There will be a Celebration of Al’s Life from 4 - 7pm on Monday, June 24. 2024 at the Scheuermann Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery on Tuesday at 11 am.
