Adella Lauretta Dalen, age 106, of Chetek, WI died Tuesday, November 19th, 2024 at Meadowbrook of Chetek.

She was born September 14th, 1918 to Ingvald & Tillie (Anderson) Larson at Sand Creek, WI. She was raised and attended school at Chetek where she graduated from Chetek High School. On March 20th, 1948 she was married to Conrad Dalen at Chetek. The couple farmed for many years & Lauretta also sold Avon as well as working for some time at the Co-op Grocery Store. She has been a longstanding member of New Scandinavia Lutheran Church where she was active in the Ladies Aid when she was able. She also loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Lauretta was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Conrad on December 15th, 2000, sons: Carmen & David Dalen & sister: Irene (Roger) Burke. She is survived by her daughter: Sandy (Denny) Ranallo, daughter-in-law: Julie Dalen, grandchildren: Sherry (Tom) Sullivan, Diana (Al) Schrul, Renee (Charlie) Rihn & Melissa (Aaron) Ahrens, 11 great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives & friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 23rd at New Scandinavia Lutheran Church in the Town of Maple Grove, rural Dallas with Rev. Vicky Strupp officiating & interment following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held for the hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
