WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - Two new criminal complaints have been filed in Washburn County Circuit Court charging multiple counts against Devon Bernstein, age 26, of sexually assaulting two child victims.
Bernstein was recently arrested in connection with multiple sexual assault reports and then subsequently charged in Barron County Circuit Court for the violent sexual assault of a young child.
Online records for the Department of Corrections indicate that Bernstein was released from Wisconsin State Prison on August 26, 2025, after completing a prison term that he was ordered to serve on convictions of burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Online records show that Bernstein was also convicted in 2023 in Isanti County, MN, of Assault-3rd Degree-Substantial Bodily Harm and received a prison sentence, to be served concurrently with his Wisconsin prison sentence.
Bernstein is scheduled to appear in Washburn County Circuit Court on December 16, 2025, regarding his new charges.
