SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A disturbance at a Hayward, WI, grocery store late last year has led to new felony and misdemeanor charges against a local man after police say he falsely claimed to be a federal agent and demanded drug testing of employees.
According to a criminal complaint, 65-year-old Daniel Zorn of Hayward, WI, is accused of impersonating a peace officer and violating bail conditions during a December 30, 2025, incident at the Marketplace store, where officers were called to investigate reports of harassment and escalating behavior inside the business.
