WASHBURN COUNTY, WI (DrydenWire) - On February 9, 2023, law enforcement responded to a single-vehicle crash in Washburn County, Wisconsin. The driver, Nicholas Bremer, age 41, of Webster, WI, was found unconscious in a snowbank, suffering from an overdose.
Deputies administered life-saving Narcan, and the subsequent investigation revealed drugs, paraphernalia, and evidence of impaired driving. Bremer received criminal charges from this case and was also charged criminally in a second criminal case filed in Washburn County Circuit Court in June 2023.
Bremer was sentenced on convictions from his cases during a recent Washburn County Court hearing.
