About Danielle (via website bio).
Since settling in St. Croix County in 2009 and starting Homestead Veterinary Clinic in Baldwin in 2011, I’ve embraced this area of Wisconsin as my forever home. I have thrived in the environment of my business’s rapid growth and dedicated myself to giving back to the community that has given me so much.
Now I want to take what I have to offer to Madison.
The roots of my desire to solve difficult problems are founded in my professional training as a veterinarian. We are trained with a set of tools to use, but the final result also depends on solid communication and working together with my clients to make the best decisions we can for their pets.
I have observed our current representation in Madison pass legislation written by their wealthy corporate donors instead of listening to their constituents.
It’s time for our representatives in Madison to once again represent voters, not donors; to use tools like research, data, and expert opinion; and to start working together to get things done.
That’s why I’m running to represent Wisconsin’s 29th Assembly District.
