SPOONER, WI — Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann will be the special guest on DrydenWire Live! with DrydenWire.com founder Ben Dryden on Thursday morning, December 19, 2024. The show will be streamed live on DrydenWire’s Facebook page starting at approximately 8:30a.
This engaging and unscripted conversation is set to highlight Schoemann’s work addressing workforce housing challenges, including the Next Generation Housing Initiative and an earned down payment incentive program. The live discussion is expected to run 45 to 60 minutes.

About Josh Schoemann
Josh Schoemann has served as Washington County Executive since April 2020 and was re-elected for a second term in April 2024. He also leads the Wisconsin County Executives & Administrators Association as President. Schoemann’s career includes over six years as County Administrator and Administrative Coordinator.
A veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Schoemann earned an Army Commendation Medal during his service with the Army National Guard, which ended in 2008 with an honorable discharge. He is active in his community, serving on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County Board of Directors, as a member of VFW Post 10452, and through his involvement with Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford. He resides in the Town of Trenton with his wife Jodi, their sons Cael and Drake, and their dog Liberty.
