WASHBURN COUNTY — Dakota White, a 34-year-old vulnerable adult who was reported missing from the Shell Lake area on March 30, 2025, has been found safe in Rice Lake, according to the Washburn County Sheriff’s Office.

White was last seen leaving an adult family home in the early morning hours of March 30, traveling on a red 2013 Honda Rancher ATV. Authorities had asked for the public’s assistance in locating him, urging residents to check security footage for potential clues.

The Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that White has been located and is safe. No further details have been released at this time.

WASHBURN COUNTY — Authorities in Washburn County are searching for a missing vulnerable adult last seen in the early morning hours of March 30, 2025.

Dakota White, 34, was last seen at approximately 3 a.m. leaving an adult family home in the Shell Lake area. He was wearing a black jacket, an orange shirt, and blue jeans at the time of his disappearance.

White is believed to be traveling on a red 2013 Honda Rancher ATV with Wisconsin registration 7488CW.

His last known location was in the Long Lake area. Authorities note that White does not have a phone or any other electronic devices with him.

The Washburn County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about White’s whereabouts to contact them at 715-468-4720.

Additionally, residents in the general area are asked to review any residential security footage that may provide clues regarding White’s location.
