WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) – An attempt to arrest a wanted man in Minong escalated into a foot chase, an alleged ATV theft, and a property damage incident that left law enforcement from multiple agencies searching woods and residences in Washburn County.
According to authorities, Dakota Barth, 31, of Minong, WI, fled from officers on April 30, 2025, after they responded to a tip about his whereabouts. Nearly a month later, Barth was located and taken into custody. Barth now faces multiple felony charges in both Douglas and Washburn Counties.
