SPOONER, WI -- The Volunteers of Spooner Health will hold their 34th Annual Love Light Tree Ceremony at Spooner Health on Monday, December 2 at 2:00 p.m.
This event is organized by Betsy Andrea of the Volunteers of Spooner Health and will feature an inspirational message from community member Mike Knox. Mike Schafer, Spooner Health CEO, will welcome everyone and read the names of all those for whom lights were purchased. In addition, there will be live music, refreshments, and a silent auction. The ceremony will also be streamed live on Spooner Health’s Facebook page (@spoonerhealth).
Community members can make a minimum donation of $5 and “purchase” a red, blue, or white light. A red light is in honor of someone, a blue light is for peace or for someone who has or is currently serving our country, and a white light is in memory of someone. Previous years have seen over 120 lights placed on the tree to honor and remember loved ones. All proceeds benefit the 2025 Volunteers of Spooner Health Scholarship Fund for students interested in pursuing a degree in healthcare.
Love Light donation forms can be picked up at the hospital or downloaded here.
