BARRON COUNTY -- Michael Strong, 30, who failed to return from his Huber Work Release on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, is now in custody and facing additional charges.
Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said that Strong did not turn himself in, rather, he was located at a residence at which police were checking as part of their ongoing attempt to locate and apprehend Stong.
"No, just good police work," Sheriff Fitzgerald said when asked if a tip led authorities to that location.
According to public record, Strong is now facing a charge of Felony Escape - Criminal Arrest.

BARRON COUNTY -- A 30-year-old Barron County Jail inmate did not return from his Huber Work Release and authorities are now asking for the public's help locating him, according to a press release from Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald.
(Press Release) -- The Barron County Sheriff’s Department is looking for Michael Strong, 30 of Barronett, who failed to return to the jail last night after being out on Work Release Huber.
Strong was in jail on Methamphetamine charges.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
