RUSK COUNTY -- Rusk County Jail Inmate, Kevin Ramsey, who was released on October 27, 2022, for a medical appointment in Ladysmith and failed to return, has been located.
At the time, Rusk County Jail staff contacted the medical facility and confirmed Ramsey did not show up for the scheduled appointment.
According to Rusk County Sheriff Jeff Wallace, Ramsey was located in the city of Barron on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, and returned to the jail.

RUSK COUNTY -- The Rusk Sherrif’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating an inmate that left for an appointment this morning but didn’t show up for the appointment and is now missing, according to a press release from the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office.

Inmate Kevin Ramsey was released this morning around 8:30 for a medical appointment in Ladysmith. Jail staff contacted the medical facility and confirmed Ramsey did not show up for the scheduled appointment.
Ramsey was last seen wearing a White T-Shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap. Special features, Ramsey only has one arm.
It is unknown who he may be with or where he was going.
