SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A Sawyer County drug investigation has resulted in felony charges for two people, Wayne Cunningham, age 31, of Radisson, WI, and Holly Trepanier, age 46, of Hayward, WI.
The investigation spanned several weeks. Law enforcement utilized multiple resources including surveillance of Cunningham’s residence and controlled purchases of drugs from Cunningham. The surveillance was allegedly instrumental in revealing that Cunningham also had numerous firearms, which he was not legally allowed to possess due to his previous felony conviction.
A search warrant was executed at Cunningham’s residence in the culmination of the investigation, leading to the seizure of fentanyl, marijuana, pills, drug paraphernalia, and ammunition.
