SPOONER, WI — Two local students were recently honored with scholarships from AmVets Post 190 in Spooner, recognizing their academic achievements and supporting their continued education.
Cora Sprenger received the Spooner Area Honor Guard Scholarship, while Mischa Swonger was awarded the AmVets Greg M. Goslin Post 190 Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarships were presented by Joe Weiss, a member of AmVets Post 190 and the Spooner School Board.
AmVets Post 190 continues to support youth in the community through its scholarship program, which honors both academic excellence and the memory of local veterans.
