BURNETT COUNTY -- Angelica Vogel, 46, of Siren, Wisconsin, has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP) Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with one child in the vehicle under the age of 16, according to a news release from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
According to the release, a WSP Trooper stopped Vogel for speeding. The Trooper observed signs of possible impairment and a subsequent investigation including a standardized field sobriety test was conducted.
Subsequently, Vogel was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance, with a passenger less than 16-years-old (there was one passenger in the vehicle under the age of 16), according to the WSP.
Vogel was transported to a local hospital for evidentiary blood draw then transported to the Burnett County jail.
"Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty."
