Tractor Supply Company Planning On Spooner Store Opening In Spring

SPOONER, WI — The Tractor Supply Company (TSC) is planning on coming to Spooner, WI in the spring of 2020 and will reside in the former ShopKo building.

The store will provide about 15 new jobs to the area, with at least half of those being full-time positions.

Executive Director of the Washburn County Economic Development Corporation, Joel Zimmerman, said “I applaud TSC's excitement about coming to Washburn County, and I appreciate their vision for growing Washburn County as well.  There's a lot that goes into expanding their brand, and a trust that the future is bright here says a lot about what is happening here, now.”

Tractor Supply currently has over 1800 stores in 49 states.

The Spooner location will be one of more than 60 stores that will open in 2020.
