Third Person Sentenced On Sawyer Drug Bust On Drytown Avenue

SAWYER COUNTY — The Court has sentenced the third person charged regarding a Sawyer County drug bust from February 2020 when the Lac Courte Oreilles Police Department conducted a child welfare check at a residence on Drytown Avenue and ultimately located heroin, marijuana, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

DrydenWire previously reported that three people were facing criminal charges following the drug bust; Amy Jack, Dylan Jack, and Tecumseh Jack. Officers responded to the residence on Drytown Avenue after receiving an anonymous phone call alleging that heroin was being used in the residence and that there were children in the residence.

When Officers entered the residence they encountered a cloud of marijuana smoke. At least 3 juveniles were located inside the residence, according to a criminal complaint filed in Sawyer County Circuit Court. Officers located heroin, marijuana, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, several hundred dollars of US Currency, and multiple cell phones and tablet devices inside the residence.

Amy Jack


Amy Jack was charged with Class I Felony Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place; Class I Felony Possession of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)-2nd & Subsequent Offense; Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Misdemeanor Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

Online circuit court records show that at a hearing on June 22, 2021, the Court accepted Amy’s plea of Guilty to her charges of Class I Felony Possession of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)-2nd & Subsequent Offense and Misdemeanor Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

Her remaining charges were dismissed but read in.

On Amy’s conviction of Class I Felony Possession of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)-2nd & Subsequent Offense the Court ordered a withheld sentence with 2 years of probation.

For her conviction of Misdemeanor Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor the Court ordered a withheld sentence with 1 year of probation.

Conditions of probation will require Amy to undergo an alcohol and other drug assessment within 45 days and follow through with recommendations.

Amy was also ordered to pay fines/costs in excess of $1,300.

Dylan Jack


Dylan Jack was charged with Class I Felony Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place; Class I Felony Manufacture/Deliver THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) (<=200g); Misdemeanor Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Misdemeanor Possession of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol); and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

According to online circuit court records the Court accepted Dylan’s pleas of guilty to Misdemeanor Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Misdemeanor Possession of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) earlier this year.

His remaining charges were dismissed but read in.

Dylan received a withheld sentence with 1 year of probation.

Conditions of probation will require Dylan to undergo an alcohol and other drug assessment within 45 days and follow through with any recommendations as well as completing any counseling and programming deemed appropriate by an agent.

Dylan was also ordered to pay over $1,000 in costs, fines, and surcharges.

Tecumseh Jack


Tecumseh Jack was charged with Misdemeanor Possession of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol); and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Online circuit court records show that Tecumseh’s charges were dismissed and read in at a hearing in February 2021 when he was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail on a charge of Misdemeanor Battery filed against him in a separate Sawyer County court case.
