SPOONER, WI -- Thanks to restocking, there are over fifty varieties of perennials for sale at the Yellow River Gardens. These are the plants that you plants once, and enjoy for years. Summer is the perfect time to balance out your gardens with these exciting additions, and they're all on sale.
Also featured at the Gardens are trees for shade, fruit, and those show-off accent trees that steal the show wherever they're planted.
If you've never planted shrubs, this might be your year to add these versatile plants that grow anywhere from a few feet to ones that grow over six feet and six feet wide. Shrubs are a great way to create privacy and height in your gardens. They are also an excellent way to block off unsightly views like garbage cans, old buildings, or unsightly stuff at your neighbors.
Midsummer is the perfect time to analyze your yard and gardens, and there is still plenty of time to plant, updating what you already have, and adding new interest.
The Yellow River Gardens are located on HWY. 70 just 2 miles east of Spooner where the Kwik Trip and McDonalds are on the corners.
Open hours are Monday through Saturday from 9a until 5p. Sundays from 10a until 3p.
