WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) – A Spooner man with a history of impaired driving is facing a fifth OWI charge after he was stopped by Spooner Police Officers late at night for erratic driving and found to be nearly 19 times over his legal blood alcohol limit of .02.

The incident, which occurred on April 7, 2025, led to the arrest of 55-year-old Kenneth Charles Slininger following a failed field sobriety test, a breath test result of .397, and the discovery of THC edibles in his vehicle.
