SPOONER, WI -- Spooner Health has announced their upcoming community flu shot clinics to help protect you and your family this flu season. This year, Spooner Health will be offering both the high-dose flu shot and the regular-dose flu shot. You must be 65 years of age or older to receive the high-dose flu shot. You must register ahead of time by visiting HERE or by calling 715-939-1685.

The flu shot clinics will be by appointment only on the following dates:

WASHBURN COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

  • 8000 West Beaverbrook Avenue | Spooner
  • Thursday, September 26: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Monday, October 7: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

JACK LINK’S AQUATIC & ACTIVITY CENTER

  • 714 West Hokah Street | Minong
  • Thursday, October 24: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Spooner Health’s community flu shot clinics are open to the public for anyone ages three and up. Most insurance policies cover flu shots. Please bring your insurance card with you for verification. No insurance? No problem! Cost is only $40 and cash or checks are accepted.
