SPOONER, WI -- The community of Spooner celebrated the Grand Opening of the new high school building and surrounding athletic complex in 2009.
The high school building and grounds continue to serve as a jewel in the Spooner community. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Spooner's high school facility.
To commemorate this milestone, the SASD will host a celebration on Friday, October 11th beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Spooner High School Athletic Stadium, prior to the Homecoming football game vs. Cumberland.
The first 700 people in attendance at the game will receive a free meal at concessions and the first 350 will receive a Rails winter beanie.
All past and present students, staff members and community members are invited to attend the celebration.
