Shell Lake Police Department Issues Statement On Recent Incident At School

The Shell Lake Police Department recently investigated a suspicious activity complaint that originated near the before/after school program building.

All suspects and vehicle have been identified, and interviewed by the department.

This incident is NOT related to the issue in Spooner.

I want to thank the community members for their observations and vigilance, and our partners at the Washburn County Sheriff's Office for their assistance.

At this time the community and school properties are not in danger from these individuals.
