Shell Lake Lions Club Performs Community Service At Arts Center

WASHBURN COUNTY — The Shell Lake Arts Center wishes to extend a huge thank you to the Shell Lake Lions Club for their help in assembling bunk beds that will be used by students attending camp during the upcoming 52nd camp season and beyond.

The motto of the Lion's Club is "We Serve", and they are part of a global service network that does whatever is necessary to help their local communities. One of their main areas of service is focused on projects that support youth, and this fit well with that mission.

Shell Lake Arts Center could not exist without the generous support from the community, and organizations like the Shell Lake Lions Club.  If you would like to learn more about programs at the Shell Lake Arts Center, or would like to volunteer, please call the office at 715-468-2414, or visit their website at www.shelllakeartscenter.org.
