(DrydenWire) / ASHLAND COUNTY -- Wisconsin State Senator representing the 25th Senate District, Janet Bewley (D-Mason), has been named as one of the defendants in a wrongful death civil lawsuit in Ashland County.
In July, Bewley had been involved in a multiple-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a 27-year-old female and her 5-year-old daughter. The Wisconsin Democratic Senate Minority Leader — who announced prior to this incident that she would not be seeking re-election — is now facing a wrongful death civil lawsuit.
