CAMERON, Wis. -- Senator-elect Romaine Robert Quinn of the 25th District announced his committee assignments for the 2023-2024 session of the Wisconsin State Legislature, which will begin in January.
Senator-elect Quinn will chair the Committee on Housing, Rural Issues & Forestry. He will serve as vice-chair of the Committee on Education. Additional committee assignments include the Committee on Agriculture & Tourism, Committee on Utilities & Technology, the Joint Legislative Council, and Joint Committee on Information Policy & Technology.
"I asked Senate Leadership to give me a heavy workload of pressing issues for the people of Northern Wisconsin," said Senator-elect Quinn. "As chair of the Committee on Housing, Rural Issues & Forestry, as vice-chair of the committee that handles K-12 education, and as a member of many other important committees, I will work hard to craft and review bills with an eye on how they affect my neighbors in the northwoods. I want to deliver results."
