SAWYER COUNTY -- Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Help Regarding Multiple Burglaries In The Sawyer County Area.

Over the last two weeks, there have been multiple burglaries and theft complaints in the Hayward area specifically on Highway B and Chippewa Trail, according to a post on Facebook via the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office page.

Authorities say that multiple construction storage containers and storage units have been entered by force and that the suspects have taken multiple items from each.

Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
