SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) – The Court has sentenced Eric Wirth, of St. Croix Falls, after a Sawyer County jury found him guilty of committing sexual crimes against children.
Eric Wirth, age 46, was criminally charged in circuit court in Sawyer County and Monroe County with committing sexual crimes against multiple victims.
In Monroe County Circuit Court, Wirth was convicted by a jury in September 2023 and later sentenced to serve 25 years of initial confinement followed by 15 years of extended supervision.
Criminal charges filed against Wirth in Polk County Circuit Court are still proceeding.
In June 2025, a Sawyer County Jury convicted Wirth of multiple crimes, including repeated acts of Child Sexual Assault between 2012 and 2014.
Wirth, age 46, was recently sentenced in Sawyer County during a hearing with the Hon. Judge John Yackel ordering consecutive prison sentences for Wirth.
