Rep. Green Votes For Voter ID

Madison, WI – Representative Chanz Green (R-Grand View), along with the rest of his Republican colleagues, voted in favor of Senate Joint Resolution 2, a constitutional amendment that would require voter ID for every Wisconsin election.

“My goal is to make sure the people of Wisconsin have full confidence in the security and integrity of their elections,” said Green. “Voter ID is a common-sense requirement for every election.”

According to a Marquette Law Poll, 74% of Wisconsinites support voter ID.

This resolution has passed the Assembly and Senate for the second consecutive legislative session. It will now go directly to the voters for approval on a statewide ballot in April 2025.

“Election integrity is an important issue in my district,” said Green. “With the rise of activist judges in Wisconsin, we must protect voter ID by way of the constitution. I am confident that voters will approve this amendment overwhelmingly this April.”
