MADISON, WIS -- Representative Chanz Green (R-Grand View) issued the following statement after the Assembly and Senate Committees on Sporting Heritage announced they would have a joint public hearing in Park Falls, WI on the deer population in Northern Wisconsin:
“I am thrilled that both of these committees, one of which I am on, are able to get out of the Madison bubble and are able to come up to my district and hear from the constituents of the 74th. The deer population is prevalent all over Wisconsin, especially in Northern Wisconsin, so it will be great for other Representatives and Senators from around the state to hear from my constituents on this issue. I am excited, and I hope to see a lot of people come out and voice their opinions.”
The public hearing will be held on August 31st at the Park Falls Town Hall at 1 p.m. Public testimony is very much welcomed and encouraged relating to the ongoing deer population issues affecting Northern Wisconsin.
Constituents can contact the office by emailing Rep.Green@legis.wisconsin.gov or by calling (608) 237-9174. Please feel free to contact the office with any questions or concerns.
The 74th Assembly District covers all of Ashland, Bayfield, Iron, and Price counties, and it includes parts of Douglas and Sawyer counties.
