State Rep. David Armstrong (R-Rice Lake) has been honored by the Wisconsin Counties Association with a WCA Outstanding Legislator Award for his work on behalf of county government during the 2023-2024 Legislative Session.
“Rep. Armstrong is a tremendous partner to counties, not just in the 75th Assembly District, but for all of Wisconsin,” said WCA President & CEO Mark D. O’Connell. “He is a leader that has worked alongside our team on responsible public policy initiatives that positively impact our state, while keeping the taxpayers in mind.”
The “WCA Outstanding Legislator Award” is handed out biennially to a select group of legislators who have represented county interests in both the legislature and in their districts. These legislators have demonstrated leadership for counties on key issues, legislation and the state budget.
O’Connell concluded, “From working to create safer work zones to human services legislation to grants to counties for veteran services, we are incredibly proud to honor Rep. Armstrong with this award.”
