POLK COUNTY (DrydenWire) – The Court has sentenced one of two men who received criminal charges following a Polk County traffic stop on November 1st, 2024. The traffic stop led to the discovery of a suspected stolen vehicle and suspected Child Sexual Abuse Materials.
The driver of the vehicle, Matthew Thompson, age 30, of Amery, WI, received felony charges for possession of child pornography. The case against Thompson is still proceeding in Polk County Circuit Court.
Randall Updyke (pictured), age 61, of Cushing, WI, a passenger in the vehicle, received criminal drug charges and has now been sentenced in Polk County Circuit Court.
