An 89-year-old woman from Colfax has died after a single-vehicle rollover crash in the Township of Wheaton, according to The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver has been identified as Juanita C Meyer. The passenger in the vehicle, identified as Harland H Meyer (husband) age 87, is currently being treated for his injuries at an area Hospital.
The accident investigation is being conducted by the Wisconsin State Patrol, the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department is assisting in this investigation.

On the above date and time the Sheriff’s office along with the WI State Patrol and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and the Chippewa Fire district responded to a report of a one vehicle rollover crash on STH 29 West bound approximately 0.5 miles west of 90th St. in the township of Wheaton.
The Vehicle was traveling west bound on STH 29. The vehicle entered the North ditch and began to roll causing severe damage to the vehicle. Two occupants of the vehicle were transported to an area hospital and the operator of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The passenger is being treated by medical staff.
