BURNETT COUNTY (DrydenWire) - An investigation by the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office into a series of break-ins, burglaries, and thefts that occurred in 2023 resulted in criminal charges for three individuals: James J. Pijanowski, Jr., Christine M. Stoll, and Milo C. Merrill, Jr. Numerous criminal complaints were filed in Burnett County Circuit Court against the three individuals. A jury trial was scheduled for Merrill, however, he appeared for a recent court hearing, and Judge Mogen addressed a motion and proposed order filed by the State to dismiss the charges against Merrill.
