Crash Information - Release of Names

At 2:40 PM on Sunday May 12, 2019 a crash occurred on Boot Lake Rd. at South of CTH B in WASHBURN County near SHELL LAKE.

Assisting agencies included Spooner Police Department, Shell Lake Fire Department, Washburn County Sheriff’s Office, North Aircare, and Spooner Fire Department.

The details of the crash are as follows:

On Sunday, May 12, 2019 at approximately 2:40 PM, troopers responded to a three-vehicle crash on Boot Lake Rd. south of CTH B in the Township of Beaverbrook, Washburn County. A northbound pick-up truck collided into two southbound passenger cars. A driver of one of the passenger cars received fatal injuries. The driver of the pick-up truck received serious injuries and was transported by North Aircare to a hospital in Minnesota. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
