New Details Emerge About Suspect In Buffalo Supermarket Shooting

New details have emerged about the suspect in Saturday's mass shooting at a Buffalo supermarket who's accused of killing 10 people and wounding three more. The suspect, who has been accused of committing a racially motivated attack and targeting the area for its high percentage of Black residents, scouted out the supermarket in early March and visited it the day before the shooting, police said.

Siru Murugesan, described by Project Veritas as a senior engineer at the company, said it was 'commie as f***' . He said many employees were angry and worried about Elon Musk's takeover of the company, and 'did all we could, to like revolt against it'. Murugesan said that Twitter had operated an extremely left-wing, lax culture where people could take any time off they wanted and not worry about profit. He told the undercover operative that there was 'bias' against conservatives, and said: 'Twitter does not believe in free speech'

Teachers Union, ADL Want Checks Placed On ‘Toxic’ Mark Zuckerberg

Nonprofits including the American Federation of Teachers, the Anti-Defamation League and the LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD are throwing their weight behind a Meta shareholder effort to place checks on “toxic” Mark Zuckerberg’s power at the company’s board meeting next week, The Post has learned.

UCLA Law Dean Jennifer Mnookin Named UW-Madison Chancellor

Jennifer Mnookin, the dean of the University of California, Los Angeles law school, will be the next chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The UW System Board of Regents unanimously approved Mnookin for the role. She will replace outgoing Chancellor Rebecca Blank, who is leaving at the end of the month to be president of Northwestern University.

Former Wisconsin Tourism Secretary, State Senator Pleads Guilty To Failing To Pay Employment Taxes

A former state lawmaker from central Wisconsin and one-time lieutenant governor candidate pleaded guilty Monday to not paying almost $200,000 in employment taxes.

Kevin Shibilski, 60, of Merrill, appeared in front of federal district court Judge William Conley and pleaded guilty to failing to truthfully account for and pay the Internal Revenue Service the federal income taxes withheld and the FICA taxes owed on behalf of his employees at two of his businesses — Pure Extractions and Wisconsin Logistics Solutions.
