The case report, published Wednesday in JAMA Dermatology by doctors at NYU Langone Health in New York City, comes as clinicians worldwide increasingly say they’re having trouble treating fungal infections.

Twins Arrested After Wisconsin Authorities Seize $200K Worth Of Fentanyl, Cocaine In Multiple Search Warrants

Twin siblings were arrested in southeastern Wisconsin after search warrants at three separate residences led to the seizure of $200,000 worth of fentanyl and cocaine.

According to releases from the Hartford Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation into a source of narcotics began after a traffic stop in Hartford on April 25 yielded heroin and cocaine.

Wisconsin Warden, 8 Other Staffers Face Criminal Charges In Inmate Deaths

The warden and eight other staff members at a Wisconsin prison face charges in the death of two inmates in what a sheriff called a mockery of the state’s obligation and vow to take good care of those in its custody.

Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt detailed to reporters on Wednesday what he called a litany of failure at Waupun Correctional Institution. He provided details of four inmate deaths since July 2023. Felony charges of misconduct in public office and abuse of residents of penal facilities were filed in two deaths.

Tiffany’s Legislation To Rename Necedah Post Office After Distinguished Veteran Passes U.S. House

Yesterday, Congressman Tom Tiffany’s (WI-07) legislation, H.R. 6651, passed the U.S. House unanimously and heads over to the U.S. Senate. This bill honors the service and sacrifice of Sergeant Kenneth E. Murphy by renaming the United States Post Office in Necedah as the Sergeant Kenneth E. Murphy Post Office Building.

Sergeant Murphy, a Necedah resident, was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his gallantry in Vietnam, as well as a Purple Heart.
