Memorial Medical Center (MMC) in Ashland is pleased to announce that Northern Waters Ophthalmology will be joining MMC starting September 1, 2020 and will become Ophthalmology Services of MMC.
Memorial Medical Center is honored to welcome this great health agency to the MMC family and to have them join us in providing excellent care to our communities.
We are so pleased that Northern Waters Ophthalmology is now part of MMC, and that their high level of expertise and personal care that has been their great legacy in our communities continues and grows as a specialty service of MMC, right here in the place we love.
Northern Waters Ophthalmology, soon to be known as Ophthalmology Services of MMC, has clinics in Ashland, Hayward, and Spooner. Dr. Mark Sneed, Dr. Craig Florine, Dr. Leah Danner, Dr. Sam Kuchinka, and Dr. Camile Sateren take great pride in offering the best vision care possible for your entire family.
Memorial Medical Center (MMC) is a private, not-for-profit, critical-access hospital with over 60 full-time physicians on staff. MMC is a rural facility that provides needed access to patients who might otherwise have a difficult time reaching a hospital. MMC serves as a regional medical referral center for patients from seven northwestern Wisconsin counties and the neighboring Gogebic County of Michigan, with a mission to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of the greater south shore region of Lake Superior.
