Rodriguez, Crowley jump into Democratic race for governor

That didn’t take long. Two Democrats didn’t even wait 24 hours after Gov. Tony Evers announced that he is not running for re-election to launch their own campaigns for next year’s race.

Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley started Friday morning by announcing that he is “taking steps toward entering the race.”

Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez announced her campaign with a new video.

Wisconsin Republicans Pitch Civil Suits for Gender Transition Harm

A pair of Republicans at the Wisconsin Capitol want to give people who went through a gender transition the chance to sue over health problems they weren’t warned about. Sen. Rob Hutton and Rep. Amanda Nedweski last Thursday introduced what they are calling a chance to hold people accountable for the after-effects of gender transitions on children.

Voter ID laws for thee, but not for me

Wisconsinites Tammy Baldwin, Mark Pocan, and Gwen Moore all signed a letter in 2016 asking the Obama administration to bring legal action against Wisconsin for our voter ID law. Two weeks ago, they voted to send $1 million to Haiti to help implement voter ID laws there. Seems they think voter ID laws are only bad if conservatives enact them…
