MI Reality Check: Evers Won't Cooperate With ICE
Instead of working with federal law enforcement to ensure dangerous illegal immigrants are removed from the country, Gov. Evers is standing in the way of law and order. Last week his administration sent out a memo telling state employees not to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents -- then days later a Milwaukee County Judge obstructed federal law enforcement in an attempt to help a criminal illegal immigrant evade capture.

The Evers Effect: The Governor’s Trade Missions Have Not Been Good for Wisconsin
Since becoming governor of Wisconsin, Governor Evers has enjoyed at least three major trips at taxpayer expense, all under the pretense of improving the state’s trade relations with six foreign countries.
But -- shocker! -- these trips haven't been all that successful. In fact, since Evers' trip to Japan in 2019, trade between Wisconsin and Japan is down more than 11%. On the bright side, the governor's wife, a top political appointee, and 13 business executives from the state got a nice nine day trip out of the deal.

Lawmakers Announce DEI Audit Hearings
The heads of the legislature’s Joint Audit Committee on Wednesday announced they will hold formal hearings into the recent DEI audits of both the UW system, and the Department of Administration.
Specifically, the Legislative Audit Bureau said it couldn’t provide solid numbers on DEI spending at either the state level or at UW campuses because managers at both didn’t properly track what was, and was not covered by DEI.
