ICAA’s Taylor County Food Pantry is making the move to its new location at 508 S 8th Street in Medford. Toni McCutcheon, Community Services Director said: “we are excited to help make this important community resource even better with this move. Our staff and volunteers worked hard to complete the transition and are excited to welcome you at our new location!”
During the transition, Medford Middle School partnered with the pantry. For their Christmas project, students collected nearly 1,700 pounds of food and over $350 to donate to the pantry! Linda Bucki, Taylor County Food Pantry Manager said, “we are overwhelmed by the support and generosity of these young people in our community! Their generous donations will help to provide food for 340 families.” ICAA’s CEO, Jennifer Shearer said, “food pantries like ours rely heavily on community support and donations. Without the generous people of Taylor County, we would not be able to provide services and resources locally like we do. Thank you for helping us provide a few basic necessities for those who need it.”
On January 8, the Taylor County Food Pantry will open its doors at the new location. The hours will remain the same: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
