SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) – The Court has sentenced Nathan Conover, age 37, of Hayward, WI, in connection to one of multiple court cases charging him with theft. The investigation began in May 2023, when law enforcement received reports of stolen catalytic converters from a transit facility, leading to a broader inquiry that ultimately resulted in felony charges against him.
Conover’s charges in Sawyer County are proceeding, however, he recently pleaded guilty to a reduced charge in Washburn County and was sentenced.
