Have Your Say: Join The Conversation At Spooner Area School District's Community Engagement Session With WI DPI

SPOONER, WI — The Wisconsin Department of Instruction (WI DPI) is interested to hear from you as they work on their strategic planning.

You are invited to share your perspectives on the department's mission, vision, values and priorities.

Spooner Area School District will be hosting them for a Community Engagement Session event on Tuesday, December 5 from 5-6:30pm in the High School Choir room.

The WI DPI has issued the following statement:

"During each Strategic Planning Community Engagement Session, DPI staff will engage in facilitated conversations to gather feedback from the public in various areas throughout the state.

“I love our public schools and libraries, and I love interacting with parents, community members, and the learners in our classrooms,” State Superintendent Dr. Jill Underly said. “Providing opportunities for community participation and deep listening – that’s what meaningful parental and family engagement is all about, and I am proud that the DPI is going to reach communities across the state with our community engagement sessions. Suffice it to say that I am very excited about our strategic planning process. I hope you join us!”
