This Mother’s Day weekend the community is invited to a fundraiser event to support a local family who was faced with a sudden loss in March. Crystal Potter, age 39 passed away after a brief and sudden illness. Crystal was the wife of Matt Potter of 17 years and mother to 3 children Austin, Colton and Laila. Funds raised from the event will help cover medical and other financial strains.
The event will take place at the Shell Lake Community Center on Saturday, May 11th from 4pm-8pm. A free will donation spaghetti supper is planned and there will be many fundraising games, live auctions and raffles.
“There will be something for everyone” explains Sue Quigley, Event Coordinator. We even have a face painter for the kids and we encourage the entire family to come and show the Potter family their support.”
