Have you heard the news? The Price County Embrace office has moved locations!
Though we have greatly enjoyed all our years in the Price County Courthouse, we are looking forward to this exciting new phase in the growth of Embrace. Embrace is the only domestic violence and sexual assault survivor services provider in the extremely rural service area. We have been providing safe shelter and services to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault for over 30 years. Embrace provides outreach and community awareness, preventative education, 24/7 crisis support, and a variety of comprehensive and sensitive direct services to help survivors navigate the systems in our four-county service area of Rusk, Washburn, Barron and Price Counties. Embrace also provides safe shelter in Ladysmith, WI that is available to survivors in all four counties.
Embrace in Price County has moved to a larger office space that will allow us to meet the growing needs of incoming survivors in a more trauma-informed, welcoming environment. With this transition, the Embrace Outreach Office in Price County is now able to meet with multiple survivors at once in separate offices and people don’t have to go to the courthouse to receive services, which can be intimidating. The larger space will also allow community partners to hold meetings and interviews at the Embrace office.
Embrace Program Coordinators are currently able to meet survivors at our new address at 305 S. Avon Avenue, Phillips, WI. Embrace is the reddish building on the corner of Avon and Walnut, next to The Laundry Room. The Embrace Outreach Office in Price County is excited to be able to serve more people in a more trauma-informed setting.
Look for our open house announcement in early 2020!
