SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) -- A Sawyer County court case involving allegations of inappropriate conduct with a juvenile, including the use of illegal substances, has concluded with the sentencing of 42-year-old Jake Otten, of Eau Claire, WI.
The case, which began with a report to law enforcement in late 2023, culminated this week with a prison sentence after Otten was convicted on a felony charge of child enticement - giving drugs, while other counts were dismissed during a previous hearing.
