BURNETT COUNTY (DrydenWire) - An early morning crash on Wednesday in Burnett County has resulted in a fatality, according to a press release from the Burnett County Sheriff's Office.

On October 4, 2023, at 2:51a, Burnett County Dispatch received a call of a motor vehicle crash near the intersection of State Highway 35 and Glendening Road in the Town of Oakland.
When deputies arrived they observed a single-vehicle rollover crash. Two occupants of the vehicle were at the scene.
One of the occupants was flown to a Twin Cities hospital. The other occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene after lifesaving measures were exhausted.
