BARRON COUNTY (DrydenWire) - DrydenWire previously published a press release from the Barron County Sheriff’s Office regarding a situation that resulted in the arrest of Bernardo Garcia as well as Brittany Turgeson and Jacob Rheingans regarding a traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of nearly 10 grams of methamphetamine which led to the execution of two search warrants and the seizure of an additional 59 grams of meth.
Criminal charges were filed against all three people, however, online court records show that in April 2022, the charges against Rheingans were dismissed due to his death.
Turgeson was sentenced on her convictions in February 2023.
Now, at a recent court hearing, Bernardo Garcia was sentenced on his conviction stemming from the 2021 meth-related drug bust.
