WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - The Court issued an oral ruling on July 11, 2024, regarding Joshua Lepley’s petition for release from his prison sentence. Lepley, age 37, has been serving life sentences in Wisconsin State Prison on convictions that he received for the July 2001 homicides of his father, Wilbur Lepley, Jr., and Amber Williams.
When Joshua was sentenced in February 2002, the Hon. Judge Norman Yackel ordered that he would not be eligible for release before July 2022.
Joshua appeared most recently in Washburn County Circuit Court on July 11, 2024, to receive the court’s ruling on his petition for release.
