CHIPPEWA COUNTY -- Registered Sex Offender Steven P. Harrison - who was previously to be homeless upon his release - now has a residence, according to the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office.
“A residence has been established for Steven Harrison and he will be residing at 23474 67th Ave Cadott, Wisconsin,” Sheriff James Kowalczyk said in an email update to media earlier today. “The residence is located in the Township of Sigel, west of the Village of Cadott.”
Sheriff Kowalczyk added that the public may direct any questions or concerns by contacting him 715-726-7721, or the Department of Corrections at 715-738-3200.

Convicted Sex Offender Steven Harrison To Be Released In Chippewa Co.
CHIPPEWA COUNTY -- The below information is regarding Steven P Harrison, a convicted sex offender who will be released from Racine Correctional on Tuesday on the 21st of January 2020, in Chippewa County.
(Press Release) -- The Chippewa County Sex Offender Notification Committee has determined that a Level III notification would be undertaken in regard to the community placement of convicted sex offender Steven P Harrison who will be released from Racine Correctional Institution on January 21, 2020. Mr. Harrison will return to Chippewa County where he is required to live. At this time the Department of Corrections does not have a permanent address for Mr. Harrison and will consider him homeless once released.

- November 2011 WI. State Stat: 948.02(2) 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child (Chippewa County)
- June 2011 MN. State Stat: 609.749 4(b) Harassment-Between Periods of Domestic Violence
- March 2011 MN. State Stat: 609.324.3(a)(2) Prostitution –Hire 18 years or older
- April 2002 MN. State Stat: 609.3451 Sexual Conduct 5th Degree 2 counts
- August 2002 MN. State Stat: 609.3431(h) Sexual Conduct 2nd Degree
Mr. Harrison has been convicted of sex offenses involving an adolescent female. Mr. Harrison has served the majority of time imposed on him by the courts and will be supervised by the Department of Corrections until January 27, 2030. Mr. Harrison’s conditions of supervision will prohibit him from any unsupervised contact with minors; no contact with his victims.
Mr. Harrison is restricted from being on the property of any schools, parks or day care centers. Comply with standard sex offender rules/requirements; GPS monitoring; face-to-face contact with Law Enforcement requirement; and a lifetime registrant of WI Sex Offender Registration Program.
